Project Overview
Nubin Factory executed the complete GRP cladding works for the main gate of Karbala and Najaf City, the biggest and largest city gate in Iraq and one of the most iconic entrance structures in Iraq country .
The project features a massive central cylinder, built from reinforced concrete, connected to a wide curved structure that extends across the two main roads leading into the city. This elevated curve is supported by a combination of steel structure and reinforced concrete, forming a continuous architectural frame that defines the gateway to the holy cities.
Nubin delivered precise shop drawings, manufacturing, and installation of all GRP panels, produced according to the highest international standards. The panels incorporate fire-retardant and UV-resistant properties to ensure exceptional durability and performance in demanding climate conditions.
A distinctive arrangement of vertical GRP joint lines was designed to enhance the structure’s visual strength and create a bold, welcoming identity for the city entrance.
With advanced GRP manufacturing techniques and expert engineering teams, Nubin Factory transforms complex architectural concepts into strong, efficient, and visually outstanding GRP solutions.
