The Sport Center Building in Future City – Erbil represents a modern architectural concept featuring dynamic curves and contemporary façade elements, executed by Nubin Company using a combination of GRC and GRP systems.
The design is highlighted by continuous curved GRC cornice lines surrounding the building, creating a unique and strong architectural identity.
The main entrance feature, also constructed using GRC, forms a bold architectural gateway that enhances the building’s presence and creates a welcoming focal point for visitors.
To complement the GRC structural elements, GRP panels were used in the decorative façade patterns on the curtain wall areas and first-floor corner sections. GRP was selected due to its lightweight structure and high flexibility, allowing the creation of intricate architectural details and artistic façade patterns that add uniqueness to the building design.
Through advanced mold technology and precision manufacturing, Nubin achieved smooth curved surfaces, accurate architectural joints, and high-quality finishing, demonstrating the company’s capability to transform complex architectural concepts into reality.
